AIA National Honor Award

AIA National Honor Award / Marlboro Music (HGA)

Recently, I was honored to hear that the Marlboro Music Library and Rehearsal Building, by HGA, received an AIA National Honor Award (2023). This is the highest design award in the nation given by the AIA for contemporary architecture. It is a project I helped design as a core team member at HGA Architects during my tenure, working hand-in-glove with principal architects Joan Soranno FAIA and John Cook FAIA.

As an architectural designer on the project, one of my favorite contributions was engaging in the design and detailing of the rehearsal spaces, which stand out as uniquely warm and elegant vessels for musical collaboration. Thankful to be a part of this project and and the positive, rich impact it has on up-and-coming world-class classical musicians.

Linked below are a few photographs of the project I’ve taken last fall—more can be seen at HGA’s website.
